For those of you who do not read my Blog, I have been working on a series of city upgrade mods as part of the Cyrodiil Upgrade Overhaul and whilst these city mods are going to be stand alone and this do not require you be using the Cyrodiil Upgrade Overhauls main release. They are intended for use with the rest of the Cyrodiil Upgrade and come to life when other features are present and working. The first mod in the series is CUO Chorrol and an early working (and stable) version has been released on the forum for those who wish to get involved in the developement to see. CUO Chorrol revamps Chorrol in line with the book The Guide to Chorrol, adding the industries that should exist amongst other things. It tries to keep Chorrols unique look and feel and hopes to leave you wondering if a feature it adds had been there all along but you just did not notice it until now. The idea it to enhance that chorrol feeling not destroy it so this is not intended to be a glorious eye candy "edit everything" overhaul that you expect city mods to be but will install be a sensible lore based quest overhaul of the city that will proved your character with work based quests to do so you can roll play a citizen of the city doing regular jobs if you wish too. Once other cities are also done, each will start to feel very unique and you will soon start to prefer one city above all others according to the needs of the character your currently playing. Chorrol is likely to attract hard working honest characters, where as leyawin is likely to attack rebels of some sort and Bravil thieves etc. More on those things in the future.
