Have you noticed that contact with Bethesda is usually depressing and soul sapping. They over hype their games, make claims they cannot deliver on, then release a buggy game and we wait for fixes for a year by which time the enjoyment of the game has been destroyed.
In the mean time we are left with 1 disappointment after another as patches make the issues worse not better.
Then they announce 30 day exclusive content for the Xbox and leave everybody thinking the content will come to the PC and PS3 after 30 days. Then they say "Dawn Guard" was never announced as being released on the PC or PS3. Letting everybody down who was waiting for it.
I remember when I could enjoy a game without taking on the developers baggage too, but with Bethesda, if you buy their games, your locked in to a depressing cycle of bugs and let downs for at least a year that more than cancels out any fun you might have gotten from their game.
You would be happier if you just avoided buying anything from them in the first place and just brought a pack of card instead.
They are an entirely depressing and oppressive company.
A game developer is in the business of making people happy through their games, but releasing buggy games and expecting people to use troll filled sites and sit in the dark waiting or hoping for any news of any bug fix they need just ruins it.
An that is exactly what Bethesda exactly their customers to do.
I long for the days when I could play game and did not need to constantly monitor the developers website. Especially a developer I do not like. Many developers are little better than trolls them selves, you would not want to be close to them. Especially when all your want is a working product and to be left in peace.
Instead we get a bug filled game, are left in the dark for months on end, told to expect something and then get let down, and finally find our game randomly breaking when they release dates with issues no beta tester claims to have seen before.
Yes folks, Bethesda are a depressing company.
