The Wizards of Winterhold V2.0 has been released and will download to your game next time you launch Skyrim. Remember to leave the splash screen up for a time whilst it downloads. If you have seen the pop messages about updates before, you will get a new one if the mod has been updated to inform you of the update and its features.
My mods start to come alive around version 2.0 and this is no exception. Whilst 1.5 was half of my original 2.0 release, this is the rest. This means you can now play Druids, Necromancers, Techmages (Dwemer mages) or any of the normal mages if your an RPG fan or all at once if your not.

A brand new massive level has been added for you to explore called Fort Blacklight, and it has a surprise ending for those who are brave enough to explore the place. The original quest line was changed but the story of the darkroads continues to be told in a series of pop up messages explaining what your seeing.
Fort Blacklight comes with lots of loot, but you might want to leave it and just raid the respawning chests so the place remains cluttered and interesting for future visits. Every bad guy in Fort Blacklight respawns so you can enjoy doing that level over and over again.
Just a reminder that I did warn everybody that if I added the features they requested, WOW would stop being compatible with other college mods. Since I have added those requested features, you should now expect the conflicts I spoke about to happen. This mod is editing the whole college now since nobody seemed to worry about compatibility when I warned folk about it. So conflicts will now happen and should be expected.
But only amongst other college mods, this does not include the Town of Winterhold which is not edited at all.
I think your going to enjoy being a mage from now on, my one concern is some of these new spells may be a little uber... so send me feedback on that and be sure to tell me what level you are when you do so.
I would also like to suggest you try a Dwemer battlemage character and use Dwemer armour and weapons and Dwemer Schematics (summon spells) as a theme. The Heavy Armoured Conjurer might prove interesting.
I would also suggest players try the new Necromancer spells from the Necromancer Spell Bookshelf in the Necromancy class since they offer many undead summon spells including the chance to summon a Dragon Priest. Necromancy suddenly feels a lot like Necromancry again. Just remember the books spawn randomly in that shelf to simulate other class mates taking them out. So check the shelf once ever 3 to 4 days to make sure you get them all.
The same goes for the Dwemer Schematics which are exclusive to Fort Blacklight. So you must fight to earn them.
I am planning on adding a feature where you can construct your own undead pet dog, but that is for future versions.
Do not forget the official support page for this mod is found in the download area HERE. I will be updating that page and overs with the new information soon.
Enjoy the mod, I know I will :)
